1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Play STEP application and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
Play STEP is a mobile application that helps guardians manage their child's dojang activities, including attendance and check-in, class and family schedules, notices, messaging, and viewing billing information. The Service is provided in connection with the dojang the student attends.
3. Accounts and Guardianship
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
- Students enrolled at a dojang may be minors. A guardian who registers a child represents that they are the child's legal guardian and consents to the processing of the child's information as described in the Privacy Policy.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes the rights of others.
5. Payments and Billing
Tuition and other fees are set and managed by the dojang. Payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor; a dojang may send you a payment link or you may register a card for recurring tuition payments. The dojang receives the payment less any applicable platform fee, and is responsible for the underlying service, pricing, and refunds. These payments are for in-person, real-world services (dojang classes); the Service does not sell digital content consumed within the app.
6. Termination and Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time within the app at More > Settings > Delete account. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or as required by law. Information handling after deletion follows the Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the app or website, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
